Frequently Asked Questions
Who can apply?The Committee is open to all current Global Scholar Diploma students who are passionate about the program and are interested in providing feedback to improve it. Must be in good standing in the program to apply.
What is the time commitment?
- 1-2 hours per month (in addition to regular GSD programming)
- time commitment includes: monthly meetings, group work, and independent projects. - Monthly virtual meetings & quarterly in-person meetings
- Share personal opinions and feedback on the program (events, GSD website, etc.)
- Complete a more in-depth survey independent of the regular student survey
- Help with recruitment and share information about GSD with peers

- Must be in good standing in the GSD Program
- Complete the application

What if I am not selected?
While we cannot accept all those who apply to the GSD Student Advisory Committee, we encourage students to continue to be active members of the GSD and look for additional opportunities to get involved throughout the program.
